Dog Friendly Friday

I think one of my favorite thing about owning dogs is their unconditional love. They don't judge or look at you like your crazy when you dance around your living room in the middle of cleaning. They always greet you at the door with a wagging tail and eyes that say "Your Home, Your Home, Yippee Your Home!" even if you just walked outside to check the mail. They always seem to make you laugh, by just being their crazy little selves.

Here are a few deals for this week:

Tip/Question of the Week:

How do you keep your house smelling clean, with dogs?

It sounds easy right? Keep your house clean and it won't smell like 'Dog'. Not as easy as you think sometimes. I have to say I love Glade Carpet and Room Odor Eliminator. Its simple just sprinkle the powder on your floor about 15 minutes before your vacuum. That's it.

We also have a Bissell ProHeat Carpet Cleaner that my parents got me for Christmas (It was the one thing I wanted this year) It makes my Carpet look brand new, and the color of the water after that thing is done working magic is disgusting, so you know its working!

I would love to hear about any tips you have!

Recipe:

Puppy Popsicles
Mix 1 and 1/2 cups water with 1/3 cup beef or chicken stock.
Pour into Ice Cube trays and freeze
They make great treats for a hot day!
-I plan on making these this summer, my dogs love ice and will love this even more.

  1. I shared this on my blog. It's a great idea and I haven't seen anyone do this . It'll be a great weekly find. Love the popsicles, can't wait for summer to try them.

  2. Found you through Jennifer (poster above me). I love the recipe for pupsicles!! Lucky for us, our dog has a very short coat that really doesn't shed, nor does it hold onto odors. I mean sometimes she smells like "a dog" (then she gets a bath), but nothing that anyone has ever said.."OMG what is that smell"...lol

  3. Thanks Jennifer for sharing! I'm sure your dog will love them. My dogs go nuts whenever they hear the ice machine, lol.

Lucky you Mommyof2girlz, I have two cocker spaniels and they shed, but we keep them very clean. My brother is living with us and he has a sheltie, who sheds EVERYWHERE and smells even a day after a bath. I guess he is a true Man's dog, lol.
