Contacting Companies in Hopes of them Sending Me Coupons!

I've been telling myself I need to start doing this for a while now, and finally I am. Karissa over at Confessions of a Couponaholic has a daily post in which she contacts companies who produce similar products to complain, comment or compliment. I have decided to follow along on her daily contacts, and maybe add a few of my own. I have already done the last few days to 'catch up', and I'm truly excited. Click on the button above and head over to Karissa's page and follow with her with me. I will update you weekly once I start getting my response, hopefully with fun coupons :)

-Oh and if your wondering if this really works, when you read her blog note that she tells you daily of new coupons she has received. Also about 2 weeks ago I contacted Purina, just to tell them how much my pups love Beggin Strips (they really do) They sent me two $1.00 off any Purina product, which I stacked with Publix coupons to score 4lbs bags of dog food for $1.00!

Don't Forget to enter my Giveaway for a chance to win a $10.00 GC to Coupondede.com (A coupon clipping service where you can order extra coupons)

  1. Jenn,

Thanks for joining me in this:) It really is a ton of fun getting stuff from companies by merely complimenting their products! My favorite thing I have gotten so far is 3lbs of free licorice. It was a pretty funny story. I made a little video about it too:) Check it out here: http://www.confessionsofacouponaholic.com/2009/12/emails-to-companies-go-long-way-free.html

    Talk to you soon!

  3. What a great idea to contact companies for coupons. I have gotten some coupons from companies when I had to make a complaint, but I have never called to compliment.

Also I noticed my blog button on your blog list. Thanks, for including me. I am going to add your button to mine today.

  4. I do this sometimes too. Over at Feeding Four she has done a 3 A Day email to companies also and that got me thinking about doing it more. Pinnacle seems to be good with sending coupons. I've emailed about Lender's Bagels and Aunt Jemima and received free product coupons from both. I'll have to keep up with Confessions of a Couponaholic to find new companies to email. Thanks.

  5. I contacted Bar S (they make hotdogs and such) to compliment them on their hotdogs. They sent me a $5 Gift Check for $5 worth of hotdogs. I can't wait til the snow's off the ground and i can have a cheap BBQ Party!
