  1. Always use rinse aid and if you have the choice for sani rinse on your dishwasher, it makes a HUGE difference

  2. I suggest using vinegar as a rinse aid in your dishwasher. I also use vinegar scented with lavendar essential oil as a liquid fabric softener. I have gone through stages of making my own laundry and dish detergents, but life happens and I get too busy sometimes. Love the blog.

  12. I SO love coupons!! I'm always needing All coupons - they're rare to come by!! Just used the Electrasol coupons for AMAZING deals at Walgreens - would love to get some more!! I suggest using a good scrub bush to brush down everything BEFORE putting it in the dishwasher - you're not washing it, just getting the crud off. Icky to think about that floating around in there!! Thanks for the fun giveaway!

  14. Wow - THANKS for the great giveaway...my best laundry tip is to treat stains immediately...I use an excellent degresing soap that you can purchase at Sams Club (tool area)- I put it into a used water bottle with a flip top...a little water and a squeeze of this soap and I place it into my laundy sorter for the next load...WORKS BETTER THAN ANY STAIN REMOVER YOU CAN PURCHASE IN THE LAUNDRY AISLE - hands down!

THANKS again for the fun giveaway...I cant wait to win! I am a new follower...melissa@fishfinders.biz

  15. If my whites become too yellowed, I will wash them with a bit of blueing agent to get them white again.

  16. I use Clorox Color Safe bleach on stains. It gets grass stains off the knees of my son's jeans even after they have gone through the dryer.

  18. Lay your whites outside flat on a towel or blanket in the sunshine. The sunshine will pull the stains out without harsh bleaching. This is good for baby clothes you put up and bring back out again in anticipation of a new baby. Somehow things put away clean end up with stains after being stored.

  19. A little vinegar in the rinse cycle of your washer is a great fabric softener and doesnt leave a vinegar smell on your clothes.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Run vinegar through your washer to clean it, and leave the door open (if it's a front loader) to cut down on smells. I'd love these coupons. All is the only detergent we can use due to my sons allergies and I love Electrasol dish detergent, it's what my mom always used and now I do too.
